U.S. News and World Report's 2016 Best High Schools in America

According to U.S. News and World Report’s 2016 Rankings of the best high schools in America, Grandview Heights High School has moved up 733 places in the U.S. rankings and 50 places in the state of Ohio bringing it's Ohio rank to 38th in the state. Grandview Heights High School is ranked #941 in the National Rankings and earned a silver medal.

Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college. Recent data includes: 2016 National Rank (941), State (38); 2015 National Rank (1674), State (86); and 2014 National Rank (1679), State (88).

Our mission to maximize and personalize each student's learning is achieved via our uniquely small student to teacher ration.  Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® course work and exams. The AP® participation rate at Grandview Heights High School is 58 percent. The student body makeup is 48 percent male and 52 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 8 percent. Grandview Heights High School is the only high school serving the City of Grandview Heights and the Village of Marble Cliff.
