Students in Bethany Black's (pictured) English 9 class are using the Diigo Chrome extension to annotate PDF documents and webpages. Students find that Diigo's features are a great way to organize their online research. It allows them to take notes on class reading assignments, bookmark items to be read later, and share their annotations with their teacher.

Students are assigned a weekly current event article and are encouraged to use Diigo to jot down any questions or comments they have about the reading. They are taught to think critically, to reach an informed conclusion and to synthesize information in preparation for class discussions.
