Facilities Planning Update

Grandview Heights Schools will hold a meeting to update residents and businesses who live or operate in close proximity to the schools and who will be most impacted by the facilities planning process on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 7 p.m. in the Edison Intermediate & Larson Middle School Library located at 1240 Oakland Avenue. (New location is the library, not the Commons.)

Nearby neighbors are invited to be a part of a special committee that will help inform the process to design and to rebuild a 4-8 school building and renovate the Grandview Heights High School.  Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions, and provide feedback in smaller-group meetings tailored to those living in close proximity to the project.

During the past three years, residents from across the community have come together to plan for the future of the district's aging schools. Moving forward, the district will continue to collaborate with the community throughout the building design and construction phases.

"This is a historic time for our school district and community and we want to make sure we are providing the neighbors of our schools with timely information as well as maintaining open lines of communication.  I hope you will consider joining us at this meeting and joining the conversation!" said Superintendent Andy Culp.

If unable to attend the meeting and have questions, residents can email the district at  [email protected].  To stay updated on the Facilities Planning process, visit the Facilities Planning page on the district website at www.ghcsd.org and pay close attention to your mailbox for district communications (newsletters, mailers, etc.) for updates.
