Stevenson Elementary's annual All Arts Day, a Grandview Heights Schools tradition, was held on Friday, April 12, 2019, much to the delight of students, staff, contributing artists, and parent volunteers.  Student engaged in a variety of arts including painting, dramatic arts and costuming, music, dance, and more!

Grandview Heights Schools thanks the many artists, volunteers, and staff members for their extra efforts and enthusiasm in providing All Arts Day to our students.  The day concluded with a new 5columns Project art installation on the front lawn.

All Arts Day is led and organized by art teacher Laura Bova who joined the Grandview Heights Schools teaching staff in 2013.

Mrs. Bova graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design and spent eight years as a commercial interior designer before returning to Ohio Dominican University to earn her teaching licensure and has been teaching since 2002.  She earned her master's degree in education from Ashland University.  Mrs. Bova teaches art with a philosophy of student choice.  She encourages student creative ideation and support them to engage and persist through challenging art making.  She follow the Studio Habits of Mind which apply not just to art making, but all learning.
