Administrative News

Scott Stewart has been selected as interim principal for Edison Intermediate & Larson Middle School.  He will serve in the role for the 2019-2020 school year as the district plans to conduct a comprehensive and thorough hiring process in March of 2020 for a permanent successor to former principal Tracie Lees.

"We are thrilled to have Scott joining our administrative team," stated Superintendent Andy Culp.  "He is an experienced and proven leader that has a lot to offer our school district and students."

Stewart brings nearly 40 years of experience in public education to the district. Throughout his career, he has been a teacher, principal, and coach, including principalships at Gahanna, Oakwood, New Albany, and Upper Arlington schools.  Since 2014, Mr. Stewart has been the Director of Principals Resource Network at the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio.

The district hosted a meet and greet with Stewart in July to introduce him to staff and PTO leaders within the school.

β€œIt is an honor to serve the wonderful communities of Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff,” stated Stewart. β€œI look forward to collaborating with the excellent staff at EILMS and working together to ensure our students are learning to their fullest potential.”
