While teachers and staff are excited to have our students back in the classroom, the first signs of excitement started earlier in the week when the entire district staff assembled for the annual convocation in the John Glenn Commons area of Edison Intermediate/Larson Middle School. 

New staff members were introduced, the Teacher of the Year and Win-Win Employee of the Year Awards were presented (congratulations to teacher Kevin Richards and Paraprofessional Lisa Zag!), Superintendent Andy Culp and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Jamie Lusher made presentations, Board of Education President Jesse Truett addressed the staff, and the PTO made every staff member feel "like all that and bag of chips" with a thoughtful and creative snack station.  Convocation was followed by building meetings and classroom set-up in anticipation of another successful school year.
