Scholastic Book Fair

The EILMS Scholastic Book Fair begins tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27, and ends  Thursday, November 29. The students will have an opportunity to preview the books on Monday, November 26. On Wednesday, November 28, the Book Fair will open at 7:00 a.m. for early-bird shopping and a light breakfast. Please enter through the  main office doors.

This year's Book Fair offers the newest titles geared just for EILMS. The choice of books range from fantasy to non-fiction. Some of the new titles include I Survived: The Attack of the Grizzlies, 1967, Dog Man, Lord of the Fleas, Max’s Story, and many new non-fiction titles.

The Book Fair promotes the love of reading and the importance of literacy, and also allows EILMS to purchase many books for the students and staff to utilize in the Media Center and in the classrooms.  In 2017, EILMS sold over $2,700 in books. Our school gets half of that total back in educational materials. Also, we are tax exempt!

With the profits from the 2017 Book Fair,  over 50 new books were purchased for the Media Center, along with super comfy chairs for the students to read in, headphones, and supplied books for those in need.

Thank you for promoting literacy and the love of reading by supporting the Book Fair. We would not be able to enhance the EILMS Media Center without your generosity. If you have any questions, please contact Media Specialist Kristi Jump at [email protected].
