Nutrition is a critical component of our Wellness for Life Curriculum. In partnership with our Food Services Department and Parent Teacher Organizations, we have given students the opportunity to broaden their pallets with delicious and nutritious vegetables and fruits. Fridays are set aside as a Fresh Food Friday experience where all students can sample fresh produce! Additionally, we highlight these selections in our newsletters with information about the health benefits and recipes to excite the taste buds. A special thanks to Tessa Carrel for her coordination of the Fresh Food Fridays and Beth Grainger for her expertise and writings about nutrition and food.
