Report Cards for the third nine weeks are now available. Grades 4-5 are printed and coming home with students. Grades 6-8 are available via ProgressBook Parent Access. Please contact email@example.com with any questions.

If your student will be absent or tardy to school, please leave a message (614-485-4100) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). A doctor’s note is needed for an excused absence. For planned absences of 3 or more days, please complete the Planned Absence Form one week in advance and turn it into the EILMS Main Office.
The attached letter was emailed to families earlier this week. Please review the AIR assessment schedule for session dates.

GRANDVIEW YOUTH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION – K-6th Graders are invited to this year’s Mother/Son Night of Fun 2019 on Saturday, March 30, 7-9PM, in the EILMS Commons. All proceeds from this event will benefit GYFA. Details and ticket purchase are here.

CODE I/O INTRO TO CS WORKSHOP – A free computer science workshop for students 10-15 years old will be held Saturday, 3/30, 10AM-2PM, at Drees Labs, 2015 Neil Avenue, Room 280. Activities include Scratch, hands-on into to web development, and real-life applications of Computer Science. Register here.
DATA SCIENCE FOR WOMEN SUMMER CAMP 2019 – July 15-19 at OSU. Girls in Grades 8-10 are introduced to data science and analytics. Applications are due 3/29.
GRANDVIEW CARRIAGE PLACE PLAYERS – Disney’s Frozen Junior will be presented in May! Auditions for ages 7-18 will be over Spring Break: 6-8PM, Tuesday March 19 at the Grandview Center and Wednesday, March 20 at the Carriage Place Rec Center. A flyer is attached.
OHIO HISTORY CENTER – The Ohio History Center invites you to explore Ohio’s place in national sports history at the largest museum exhibit ever on Ohio sports. Learn about Ohio greats, such as, track start Jesse Owens, racecar driver Sara Fisher, basketball legend Lebron James, and many more. A flyer is attached.
OHIO YOUNG BIRDERS ASSOCIATION – OYBC Central Ohio Chapter plans fun and exciting trips to encourage, educate, and empower youth conservation leaders.

GRADE 4 – BAND MEETING FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR
A meeting will be held Thursday, March 28, 5:30-6PM in the EILMS Commons for parents of any student who is interested in being part of the band for next school year.
Instrument fittings for band are scheduled April 1-4 during Grade 4 students’ music time. Every student who wants to try a band instrument will have the opportunity to do so on those dates. Please contact Mr. Heath (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
Nutrition Services, including menus and EZpay, can be found here. Magnetic menus are available in the Main Office. The PB&J meal selection now includes string cheese and a small bag of goldfish crackers.
Students in GHHS Science Club and AP Environmental Science are hosting a cell phone/tablet recycling drive through the end of April in cooperation with the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's Gorillas on the Line campaign. More information can be found on page 15 in the Beastly Banner. A collection box is in the EILMS Main Office.
