GHHS Cross Country Teams Head to State Championships

On Saturday, October 30, the Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams competed in the Regional Championships.  The girls team finished in 2nd place in the region and will be competing in the state championship on Saturday, November 6.  Leading the way for the team was Maddie Palmisciano finishing in 6th place, followed by Greta Tew in 33rd, Jillian Curfman in 45th, Eleanor Kukura in 69th, and Nina Brown in 70th.  

The boys team finished 8th in the region.  Leading the way for the boys were state qualifiers Noah Curfman who finished in 14th and Denison Murphy in 16th.  Both will race on Saturday in the State Championship.
