Spook-Tacular Stories Wanted!

When this happened the Grandview Heights Schools picked up the torch and began our own Halloween Writing Contest three years ago.

The Grandview Heights Schools is hosting a Halloween Writing Contest for students in Grades K-12.  Entries are due by Friday, October 27.  Students are asked to finish a story in which they have been given a prompt.  This year's prompt is "What happened to Ben?" Story length should be between one and five pages and illustrations are welcome.

There will be one winning story selected from the following grade level categories: Grades K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, and high school.  The winning entries will be posted on the district website.

Stories and entry forms are due to Joan Grundey at Edison Intermediate/ Larson Middle School through interoffice mail or via email at [email protected] by Friday, October 27.  Contest rules and grade level prompts are attached.  For more information, contact teacher Joan Grundey at [email protected]
