For the first time in Grandview Heights High School sports history, the Boys Soccer team competed in the State Championship game on Saturday, November 8, 2014, against Mansfield Christian at Crew Stadium.   Playing with an incredible amount of heart, the team erased a 3-0 half-time deficit in the final 12 minutes to go to overtime play, but ultimately losing on an overtime header rendering the final score 4-3.  An estimated 1,000 people attended a community-wide pre-game tailgate.
