As we ready for the Winter Break and upcoming holidays, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a happy, healthy, and safe holiday! Our staff and students have engaged in ways to help others this month. Grandview Heights High School students collected new, unwrapped presents for children and teens as well as non-perishable food items. At Edison Intermediate & Larson Middle School, a school-wide food drive was in full swing and Stevenson Elementary students also collected food items to make Holiday Food baskets and clothing and hygiene items to be distributed to three homeless camps. I’m so proud of our students and their gifts of empathy and compassion for others.
We look forward to seeing students return to school on Monday, January 6, 2020. In the meantime, have a wonderful and relaxing holiday and very happy new year! And be sure to take time to spend quality time with your family and friends!
