Facility Planning Process - Feedback Results

At the May 1 Community Engagement Meeting, Superintendent Andy Culp invited the community to join the conversation by completing an online survey, an Exit Ticket, and/or by hosting a neighborhood coffee.  The online survey and Exit Ticket were specific to the presented first draft options for the Facility Planning Process.  Hosting or attending a coffee provides additional opportunities to ask questions and offer feedback.

The survey was available to the entire community through May 17.   The online adult responses range from 597 to 535; staff responses range from 53 to 48, and student responses range from 360 to 270.   The survey results are attached below.

At meeting's end, attendees were invited to complete Exit Tickets by responding to the following questions:
  • What did you learn that helped your thinking about the process?
  • What surprised you?
  • What really resonated with you?
  • What questions do you have that were not answered?
  • What is something important that we should know?
The Exit Ticket feedback is attached below.

Participation in the online survey and completing an Exit Ticket offers the district valuable feedback that is helping to shape the revised options based on the opinions and values of the community  The revised options will be presented on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. in the John Glenn Community Center - Edison Intermediate/Larson Middle School Commons located at 1240 Oakland Avenue.  Free childcare will be available.
